Napping

What's up with only power naps today? Poor Grandpa missed out... and our Squirmalicious wouldn't even let him keep an afghan on.

Love

My sweet Squirmalicious kept hugging me today and saying, "I love you so much Grandma!" Priceless...I have the best job!

Standing

Standing has become a regular thing now for my buddy and he can get up whenever he wants, even in the middle of the room. He is so proud and excited as are we all, including Squirmalicious who will say, "he's standing!"

Feeling Better

My poor grandbabies were not feeling well the last couple of days but now they are on the mend. :)

I dropped my Squirmalicious off at school since her mom had to go to work early. She was so good, a little tentative about me leaving but with the encouragement of a fruit twist, she was fine. After I put her lunch in the refrigerator, I always go sneak a peek to check on her and she was giggling along with the other kids.

My buddy and I went to Costco. He smiles so sweetly at the people who say hello to him. He is such a flirt with the

No Hands!

After Major Cuteness woke up from his afternoon nap he was standing with his hands on chairs and would put them up in the air so he was standing on his own. He was so proud of himself! He kept doing it and looking at me with a great big smile. When I said, "Yay!" he started clapping. So cute!

Pushing

Today my adorable and sweet buddy was pushing his sister away from Grandma so I would pick him up and he could have me all to himself...

And so it begins!

Oh my

A new Surface and another month + goes by. 😡

My grandbabies are growing and learning so fast! They are just the sweetest. We spent Thanksgiving weekend at our new beach house. I am so thankful that I get to spend my days with them... as exhausting as those to energetic kids are! 😉

Energy

Oh my goodness! I wish I had a quarter of the energy that my grandbabies do. They just wear their grandma out. My Squirmalicious was being curious and busy at the library when we were trying to leave; putting books from the 'hold' shelves in the return slot, counting all the brochures and putting them in one big pile, pushing the button to open the door when Grandma was trying to check out a book, running up and down the ramp outside. Makes me exhausted just writing about it! My little buddy was just as busy and not interested in napping today.  Need to go to bed!

A Good DAy

Today was a good day with both Miss Squirmalicious and Major Cuteness. Our Squirmalicious was very happy after her day at school. Major Cuteness smiled all day! Lots of laughs for Grandma and Grandpa along with an incredible amount of energy!

Glasses

If I take my glasses off my little buddy looks at me strangely until I put them back on and then he gives me a big smile!

Feeling better

My buddy is finally starting to feel better, thank God. Ear tubes are working and a break in teething but still a little cold. First day this week that he ate a little...still drinking a lot of formula. Much better mood today and many more smiles, laughs, playing and cuddles!

Jungle Jim

This Grandma's major role in my 2 very squirmy grandbabies lives seems to be that of a Jungle Jim!. They both are always climbing all over me and even have started to try to push each other off me. It's not even good enough to stand next to me while I'm sitting on the floor, they have to stand on my legs!

Tornado

Today 2 little tornados attacked Grandma's house! They also attacked Grandma and exhausted her! Time for Grandma to go to bed...

Ear tubes

Our poor little guy had tubes put in his ears today. Thank goodness he's already feeling better and right after surgery his hearing had improved quite a lot. This afternoon he was already all smiles! Hopefully he will be earache free from now on.

Major Cuteness

Today was a school day for my Squirmalicious so my buddy Major Cuteness and I had some just the two of us time. He is just so, so very adorable. Like his big sister, he is a ball of energy until he passes out! He is the sweetest and funniest little guy. Every day he learns more and more. I had my hands on either side of him as he was standing by the ottoman. I wasn't touching him, just making sure he wouldn't fall as him banged on the ottoman. He took one hand, then the other and pushed them away! I just love my grandbabies so much!

New Favorite Phrase

Miss Squirmalicious has a new favorite phrase, "Holy Crap!" Sang Happy Birthday Holy Crap too! Good thing it was Daddy who taught her....  ;)

Standing

My Buddy is already 9 months old and spent the day trying to stand up by holding onto everything but mostly Grandma. He is getting up on his hands and knees sometimes but mostly continues his army crawl at lightening speed.

Miss Squirmalicious missed coming to Grandma's so much while we were away that she didn't want to go to storytime, "No thank you Grandma!"

Both my grandbabies are getting so big...

My Poor Sick Buddy

Poor baby boy has a cold while teething. He was so miserable today that I had to hold him all day. No sitting around...had to be walking or rocking. Hardly ate at all but did at least get some decent naps.  Luckily his big sister had school today so she had fun. Of course she is the one who gave him the cold and she caught it at school. I hate when my grandbabies are sick.

Hard to Believe

It's hard to believe that my Buddy might be more squirmy than his big sister Squirmalicious! He doesn't sit still, is so fast and hard to hold on to. Wish I had some of that energy my grandbabies have.

And now the top teeth!

Grandma is so out of the habit of writing that my Buddy already has his 2 top teeth now! Time is just flying, Miss Squirmalicious is growing and learning so fast and my Buddy is doing the same.

Teeth?

I think our Little Man may have a tooth popping through...maybe even 2 bottom teeth! Growing so fast. Miss Squirmalicious probably already has all her teeth. Time is flying by.

How can it be...

How can it be that our baby grandson is already 6 months old? He absolutely adores his big sister!
