Camelot

A couple of days ago we bought a house that Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Daddy, Miss Squirmalicious, and Major Cuteness are all going to live in together. It has a main house with an in law suite attached. The in law side is really small, the whole place is very dated, and we've been watching too much HGTV so we are doing a renovation and addition. Demo has begun; we're knocking down walls, taking out cabinets, ripping up floors, and excavation should start tomorrow.

I told Miss Squirmalicious that it would be like 2 houses squished together with a secret door to get from her house to mine. As I explained her eyes kept getting bigger and bigger. Then she said, let's go! Every time she's out in a car she wants to go home to the new house.

Today Major Cuteness and I brought lunch to Daddy, Grandpa, and workers. We then went downstairs to play in the playroom. He loved how big it was so he could run all around.

The fun has begun!

Flushing

Major Cuteness like to help me out by flushing the toilet. The cutest thing though is after he flushes he now says, "Thank you"!

Grandpa love

My goodness, our Squirmalicious just adores her Grandpa! If I want her to do something I use making grandpa happy or sad. Hey, whatever works. ;)

Favorites

For months our Major Cuteness always carried around a shovel! Now his favorite thing is a golf club, which he carries around with him as well. What a character! Too adorable...♥♥♥ 😍

Oh no

Poor Squirmalicious got hit in the face at the end of the day in the playground at school. Her beautiful face had a red cheek and a fat lip. Poor baby. :(

Come on

My big boy now will take my finger and pull me along places... so precious!

On the other hand, we went into the backyard this morning and the plan was to go for a walk but apparently Major Cuteness wanted to stay and play. I told him come on let's go for a walk. When he didn't come I went to pick him up and he scrunched down with his arms tight to his body to make it hard to pick him up!

Wee

Our little guy is just so precious... he was playing with the zoo, putting animals on the slide and saying, "Wee..."

Grandpa

Our Major Cuteness only wanted his Grandpa this morning. Mixed blessing for Grandpa...

Step Stool

Miss Squirmalicious likes to bring her step stool around to get things. The cutest thing is that while she carries it she says, "Excuse me, coming through!"

Allergies

Grandma's allergies are making her itchy all over... the roof of my mouth, inside my ears, and the palms of my hands are the worst. Poor Miss Squirmalicious sneezed and coughed for a half hour after she started to nap until I sat her up on my lap to sleep. Aahhhh, now I can't stop scratching my scalp!

Soccer Bugs

Our birthday gift for our soon to be 3 year old Squirmalicious was signing her up for Soccer Bugs. Today we were talking to her about going to watch her Saturday... Mommy, Daddy, and Major Cuteness were going with her; Grandpa and Grandma were going to come and watch. She then said, "Aunt Jenny and her cat Sita too!"

Ready

Major Cuteness spent quite a bit of time saying, "Ready, Set, Go!" and then throwing a ball. Then he also was throwing lots of stuff over his shoulder...

Laps

Major Cuteness is so busy walking laps from the living room, through the kitchen and back like a drunken sailor! Today he even was carrying a book in his mouth and even cuter, clanging symbols as he went... having his own parade!

ABC's

Our little man was playing with the music table when the ABC song came on. He stood there singing and bopping along...

Walking

The trick to getting our Major Cuteness interested in walking is to have him chase his big sister! Then have Miss Squirmalicious slowly chase him and tickle him when she catches him! Now he's started to walk everywhere. Even tried to carry a truck and walk.

Feeding Grandma

Now both my grandbabies like to feed me. Miss Squirmalicious likes to put something in her teeth and have me eat half. She especially likes to put one end of spaghetti in her mouth and the other in mine until we meet! Her daddy taught her this in an attempt to get her to eat one night. Major Cuteness mostly likes to feed me what he doesn't want but sometimes just to share and it makes him so happy when I eat it and say, "thank you!"

Macaroni & Cheese

My cute Squirmalicious took out the Mac & Cheese from the closet to make at breakfast time. Finally at 11 I gave in and made it. Holy cow did the 2 of them chow down! I had to make a second serving they ate so much.

Toast

My grandbabies just love toast, but only with butter. Don't try to put peanut butter or jelly on it. Major Cuteness is so cute when he eats his quarters. He holds it in one hand and breaks off pieces to eat. Too cute!

TGIF

Whew... busy week. Mommy had an important event this week with early & late nights as well as a night in hotel. All the grown-ups are exhausted!

Our big girl is doing so well with potty training, so proud of her. Our boy is taking more and more steps every day. They both are eating a lot... as well as pooping a lot! Must be going through a growth spurt.

So sweet, a lot of hugs for Grandma this week.

Big Girl

Our Squirmalicious is getting to be such a big girl. She has been doing so well potty training. Yesterday she pooped in the potty twice. Today she wore underpants to school and didn't have any accidents! So proud of her.

Poor Major Cuteness was back at the doctor, really bad cold... poor baby. He still tries to be happy!
